Chengfang Pang

Chengfang Pang is an environmental research scientist who has joined the Environmental Science, Informatics and Statistics Department at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2015 – 2017) to carry out interdisciplinary research on nanomaterials.

Chengfang Pang will analyze the behaviour, (eco)toxicity, and risks of nanoscale Cu-Phthalocyanine used in large scale for automobile coating in the aquatic environment. The aim of the study is to develop concepts and methods, and to generate data to predict the long-term ecological effects and risks of nanomaterials released from consumer products in the aquatic environment. The project will last two years and supervised by Antonio Marcomini, Professor of Environmental Chemistry and director of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics of Ca’ Foscari.

The research was funded by European Commission Horizon 2020 Marie Skodowska-Curie IEF research project NanoERA under grant agreement No.66096.
