Curriculum
Marco is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Sciences at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics (September 2013 – Present). He is part of the Environmental Chemistry and Environmental Risk Assessment research group.
His main research interest is the application of environmental models (SWAT, AQUATOX) to predict impacts of climate change on water quality and associated risks in coastal watersheds.
Marco obtained his master’s degree in Environmental Sciences within the Joint International Master Degree in Sustainable Development. He spent one semester at the Karl Franzen University of Graz, Austria.
In 2009, Marco participated in the Erasmus exchange programme and spent 6 months in Reykjavik (Iceland) at the University of Iceland.
