 Curriculum

Dr. Lisa Pizzol holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the University Ca’
Foscari Venice. Her research interests are in risk assessment and management of contaminated sites and brownfields, analysis of stakeholders’ roles and perspectives in land regeneration projects, application of multi-criteria decision analysis methodologies for the evaluation and ranking of different stakeholders’ points of view and selection of different remediation alternatives, sustainability assessment of remediation alternatives, development of DSSs for environmental problems. She is member of SETAC Europe. She has been involved in the preparation of the white paper related to Sustainable Remediation in Italy edited by the Sustainable Remediation Forum (SURF) Italy.

She has been in UK at the Lancaster University to deep the knowledge about risk assessment methodologies for the implementation of the REACH regulation. She planned and supported the coordination of the Academic Master REACH. She has been in China in 2008 and 2011 at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES, Beijing) for the application of DESYRE (Decision Support Systems for the rehabilitation of contaminated sites) to a Chinese case study and within the IRSES project EPSEI.

She is the coordinator of the research activities within the Work Package 1
(WP1)  of the Timbre project. TIMBRE (Tailored Improvement of Brownfield Regeneration in Europe), EC FP7 (Grant Agreement Number: 265364), 2011 2014.
